SKARR.PROTerms of Use

Terms of Use

Effective October 19, 2026

The rules for buying from SKARR.PRO through this site: payments, installments, refunds and who owns the work.

What these Terms cover

SKARR.PRO (“we”, “us”) is a design and web development studio in California. These Terms cover skarr.pro, our brief pages at briefs.skarr.pro and every purchase you make through a Buy button on this site. By completing a payment, you agree to them.

Our services are for businesses. By buying, you confirm that you buy for business purposes and that you can act for the business you buy for.

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Buying an offer

  1. You choose an option and pay through the Stripe checkout.
  2. Once the payment is confirmed, we send you a short questionnaire and start discussing your task.
  3. Before work begins, we confirm the scope with you in writing: what we’ll make, the stages and the timing. Work begins once you’ve said yes to it.

If your task turns out bigger than the option you bought, we’ll tell you and suggest another option or a separate quote. We never charge for extra work you haven’t agreed to in writing.

Monthly payments are installments, not a subscription

Some services are priced per month of work — UX/UI Design, Product Design, Application Development and the operations plan of a dealer website. A monthly price is an installment of the project price, not a subscription.

  • The written scope fixes the total price and the number of monthly payments.
  • Stripe charges your card every month, starting from your first payment, until the last payment in your scope.
  • Stopping the project or the payments early doesn’t cancel the payments that remain: the full price of the plan is due.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. All prices are in US dollars, and the amount shown in the Stripe checkout before you confirm is the amount you’re charged. A price change on the site doesn’t change an order you’ve already paid for.

No refunds

All payments are final. We don’t refund payments, in full or in part, once they are made — including when you stop a project midway. If you stop, you receive the work finished up to that point.

The only exception: if, after reviewing your task, we can’t take it on, or we stop the work ourselves, we refund the part of the price for work we haven’t done.

Custom work

Everything not bought through a Buy button — service redesigns and custom projects — starts only once we both sign a written proposal or agreement. If a signed proposal or agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed document wins.

Your materials and our work

  • What you send us — text, images, files, voice notes — stays yours. You confirm you have the right to share it with us, and we use it only for your project.
  • Once you’ve paid in full, you own the final deliverables of your project. Tools, code and know-how we use across projects stay ours, and you may use them as part of your project.
  • We may show finished work in our portfolio once it’s public, unless you ask us in writing, before work begins, not to.
  • The site’s own text, design, images and code belong to SKARR.PRO or to their owners. Please don’t reuse them without our written permission.

Case studies

Our case pages show finished client projects, work in progress, concept pieces and projects under NDA. Brand names and logos belong to their owners. A concept piece doesn’t mean the brand in it is our client or endorses our work. Some case pages are working copies of sites we built: their carts, booking and checkout buttons don’t place real orders or payments.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. For paid work, we promise what the offer page and the written scope describe; we don’t promise particular business results, such as traffic, rankings or sales.

To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to fraud, harm caused on purpose or a violation of law.

Governing law

California law governs these Terms. Disputes go to the state and federal courts for Shasta County, California. Before going to court, please message us — most problems can be solved in a conversation.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the date at the top shows the current version. A purchase is governed by the version in effect when you paid.
