SayMo Beta 1.25.0 — Apple silicon, macOS 14 or later Install 1. Unzip the download and move the .app to Applications. 2. Open SayMo and allow microphone access. Enable Accessibility access when asked so dictated text can be inserted into other apps. 3. Choose your recording trigger in Settings. Hold or press it to dictate, then finish recording to insert the text. Lite includes local dictation, history, translation and interface-language settings. Pro adds voice memos, notes, Notion integration, media controls, device tools and Claude Code / Codex approval cards. Recognition runs on your Mac. A Whisper model is included. Other recognition models may download on first use. Translation offers an optional approximately 496 MB model download directly from Hugging Face; after installation, translation works locally. Download progress, cancel/retry and integrity checks are included. Known beta limitations - Media control may pause only the system-selected player. If several sources play, not all will pause. Browser commands can target the wrong tab. SayMo does not reliably pause and restore every playing source. - First-run behavior on other Macs and dictation-to-insertion in every browser/editor are still being tested. Please check short and long dictations, selected-text replacement and focus changes in your usual apps. - Pro: the approval button offers a dropdown when the connected agent provides supported alternatives. Codex session-wide approvals are not connected yet; its current integration supports individual requests. Selecting a dropdown option does not approve it until the main button is pressed. - Lite and Pro keep separate history archives. Automatic Lite-to-Pro archive migration is not included. Pro Beta can share the Pro archive with other Pro editions in the same macOS account. This is a beta, not a stable release. No browser extension or Chrome configuration is required. No personal settings, archives or credentials are included. Feedback: note the app edition/version, macOS version, the app where insertion failed, what you expected and what happened. Share only the text or recordings you choose.
